Sweded

A sweded movie is the short and summary version of popular pop-culture films using limited budgets so a majority of time props are handmade.

The term ‘sweded’ became popular after the release of the film ‘Be Kind Rewind’ which focuses around a DVD rental store where an employee’s friend accidently erases the content of all the videos in the store leaving the two, to hastily recreate the films in a ‘sweded’ style using cheap special effects.

The basis of our group swede was a clip from a TV show called ‘Cutting It’
